Volvo Get Their Moan on About Slowness in Driverless Legislation
Volvo has decided that governments and institutions aren’t moving fast enough for its vision of the driverless motoring future. In a slightly unusual move, the Swedish driverless working group they participate in has released this video; it promises massive change and upheaval in personal transport whilst moaning that the EU is not going to hit a 2020 target to have legislation in place to allow mainstream driverless car usage. Perhaps not everyone shares Volvo’s vision of a robo-car utopia.
